What is our Relationship with United Way Worldwide?
UWLC is a separate and autonomous organization from United Way Worldwide (UWW). We pay 1% of our annual campaign in dues to the UWW, but these dues do not come from donations. Payment of dues comes from interest earned on our accounts and fees earned through contracted administrative services.

Membership in UWW provides important cost-saving opportunities for professional development, marketing, networking, campaign products and on-going consultation.
UWW also ensures our United Way is transparent and accountable for the donations it receives and the way we conduct business.
This seal means we have completed all criteria required by United Way Worldwide.
